Assets

List View

The asset list view in the Assets workspace displays your assets in a table format. You can sort, show or hide columns, save different table layout, export your table data, and select rows for performing bulk actions.

The List View displays all assets that match your current filters and search criteria. Each row represents one asset. Click any row to open the full Asset Details page for that asset.

Conditionally visible columns

  • Last Cargo Image, Floor Coverage %, Volume Filled % — appear only when CargoVision is enabled and visibility settings allow them.

Sorting the list

Click any column header to sort the list by that column. Click the same header again to reverse the sort order. Your sort preference is saved and persists as you navigate the workspace.

Some columns cannot be sorted: Trip status, Time in trip status, and Location Summary. Clicking these headers does not change the sort order.

Bulk actions

When your user role includes asset check permissions, checkboxes appear in the left column of the table. Select one or more assets, then choose an action from the Actions menu that appears above the table.

If you do not see row checkboxes or the Actions menu, contact your administrator about your role permissions.

Column customization

Use the Columns button in the table header to show or hide columns. A panel opens with a checklist of available columns. Checked columns are visible in the table; unchecked columns are hidden. Some columns may be disabled in the panel if your organization settings or user role do not permit them.

Drag column headers left or right to reorder the table. Resize columns by dragging the edges of the headers. Your column order and visibility choices are saved automatically and persist across sessions.

Not all columns can be toggled. Sensor-dependent or role-restricted columns may be omitted from the panel entirely when the underlying data is not available to your organization or role.

Exporting list view data

Click the export button in the table header to download the current asset list. The export menu offers several options depending on your table and organization settings:

  • Download as Excel — exports the visible rows and columns as an .xlsx file.

  • Download as CSV — exports the visible rows and columns as a .csv file.

  • Send by email — available for server-side exports; sends a download link to your email address.

Exports respect your current filters, search, and column visibility. If the table has no matching rows, exporting is blocked and a message explains that the table is empty.

Large exports may be processed server-side. When this happens, you receive an email with the download link instead of an immediate file download.

Creating and saving table layouts

Use the Table layout menu in the table header to save, load, and manage your preferred column arrangements.

Save a new layout

  1. Arrange the table by showing, hiding, and reordering columns as you prefer.

  2. Click Table layout in the header, then choose Save table layout.

  3. Enter a name for the layout and choose whether to set it as your default.

  4. Save the layout.

What a layout saves

A saved layout stores the column order and which columns are visible. It does not store column widths; widths return to default sizing when you reopen a saved layout.

Load a layout

Open the Table layout menu and select a saved layout from the list. The table updates immediately to match the saved order and visibility.

Shared vs private layouts

  • Private layouts appear under All table layouts and are visible only to you.

  • Shared layouts appear under Shared table layouts and are available to your organization.

Edit or delete a layout

Open the Table layout menu, find the layout you want to manage, and use the edit or delete action next to it. Editing lets you rename a layout or change its default setting. Deleting removes it permanently. You can only modify layouts that you created or that your role permissions allow you to manage.

Switching between views

Use the view selector in the top right of the Assets workspace to change how assets are displayed:

  • Map view — geographic view with asset markers and clusters.

  • List view — tabular view for sorting and scanning assets.

  • Gallery view — card-based masonry view with asset images and details, available when the gallery feature is enabled for your organization.

All three views use the same filters, search, and pagination state, so the same set of assets is visible in any view.
