Use the filter panel toggle in the Assets workspace to expand or collapse the filter drawer. Showing the filter panel gives you access to all available filters for narrowing down your asset list. Hiding it frees up screen space when you don't need to adjust filters.
Where to find the filter panel toggle
The filter panel toggle appears in the Assets workspace toolbar. This icon button switches between two states:
Hover over the toggle button to see its current tooltip. The tooltip indicates whether clicking will open or close the filter panel.
Expand the filter panel
Navigate to the Assets workspace from the main navigation.
Locate the filter toggle icon in the workspace toolbar.
Click the toggle button. The filter panel slides open on the left side of the screen.
When expanded, the filter panel displays all available filters and any saved filter sets. You can also resize the panel by dragging its right edge.
Collapse the filter panel
With the filter panel visible, locate the same toggle button in the toolbar.
Click the toggle button. The filter panel closes and removes itself from view.
Collapsing the panel does not clear your active filters. Your current filter selections remain applied even when the panel is hidden.
Why hide the filter panel
Hiding the filter panel gives you more horizontal space for the asset list and map view. This is useful when:
You've finished setting filters and want to focus on the results
You're working on a smaller screen and need more room for asset details
You want to simplify the workspace while reviewing asset data
What to expect
The following screenshots should be added to illustrate this workflow:

Expanded state — Screenshot showing the expanded filter panel on the left side of the Assets workspace, with annotation highlighting the toggle button and the resize handle on the panel's right edge.
Panel relative to workspace — Screenshot showing the filter panel relative to the asset list and map view, demonstrating how collapsing the panel increases available screen space.
