Map View - Map Layers
Use the Layers control at the bottom left of the map to customize your map view. Click it to open. Your selections here - Map Type, Geofences, Street View, and Asset Cluster Summary - are saved and will still be applied the next time you open the map.
Map type
Switch between the 2 map styles:
Default – a street map view with roads, labels, and landmarks
Satellite – aerial imagery showing the actual terrain
Select a type to apply it to the map. The selected type shows a check badge indicator.
Geofences layer
Toggle Geofences on or off to show or hide geofence boundaries on the map. Geofences appear as shaded regions indicating defined areas such as yards, depots, or customer locations.
When you create or edit a geofence, the map automatically switches to Satellite view to make boundary drawing easier.
Street View
Toggle Street View on to enter Google Street View mode. In this mode, you can explore street-level imagery around your assets.
When Street View is active, the layers control is hidden, and a Back to map button appears in the top-left of the map. Click it to return to the standard map.
Street View may show a message if coverage is unavailable:
