Asset Summary Panel - Overview
The Asset Summary Panel gives you a quick snapshot of an asset's status without leaving the map. It opens automatically whenever you select an asset, either by clicking its marker on the map or by clicking an asset from the list on the left side of Map View.
What's in the panel
The panel opens on the right side of the screen and stays open until you close it or select a different asset. At the top, you'll always see:
Asset ID and Alt ID
Customer organization
Asset type (for example, Trailer or Dolly)
Last reported time
In the top right-hand corner of the panel, two icons let you take action on the selected asset:
The gear icon opens Asset Settings, a separate page with the asset's identification, manufacturer, lifecycle, and physical property details.
The "..." icon lets you share the asset's live location.
The X icon in the top right closes the panel and returns you to the full map view.
Sections
Below the header, the panel displays a series of sections with more detail on the asset's activity and condition, such as trip status, usage, and cargo. Not every section appears for every asset. What you see depends on the asset's type and sensor configuration. See Sections for a full breakdown of what each one shows and when.
